MEC Ligher Transports
One question I've been meaning to ask: Is a remodel of the Vodnik to make it more accurate and AMPHIBIOUS going to happen at any point?
Now on to the suggestion: Can we start to see more of the light MEC Jeeps on future / redone maps? I love the hell out of those things, and figure since the MEC is fictional it would be interesting to see more of these around. It would give the MEC a punch in the early game since they are quite fast, and pack quite a bit of fire power against infantry.
I guess in the future it could be remodeled to have only one MG, though.

Yeah, I saw that the vodnik is amphibious in real life too. But to what extent is it? Can it go on open seas like a boat?Expendable Grunt wrote:One question I've been meaning to ask: Is a remodel of the Vodnik to make it more accurate and AMPHIBIOUS going to happen at any point?

Yeah I prefer the idea of having little differences like this between sides then having balance. Gives more character to armies. If you know your strengths and weaknesses you can have a good battle. Only thing is it's only gonna work if all sides have little things like this that differentiate them, and it's not just one side who's jeep-a-like can cross a river.supahpingi wrote:Man they gotta quit with the balance.
balance isnt really important in PR.
If u have 2 PRO squads in one team and none in the other its unbalanced anyway.
i just hope they put everything in just to make it realitic.
Just my 2 cents.

I thought that title belonged to Israel?tesher07 wrote:I agree the mod is being ruined by balance. I mean come on. So your saying the usaf is the same as mec airforce even though the usaf is the best in the world.

Sometimes, reality isn't fun - thats where balance comes in to play, nobody will enjoy playing MEC if US armor/air would rape them.

leave it up to the mapper to balance if they want.

It's almost like DICE modeled all the US vehicles, copied and pasted them twice, moved some of the verticies around, and slapped a chineese or MEC flag on them. modern warfare is not symmetric, very few battles have ever been symmetric. one side has always had an advantage in one aspect of war. whether it be cavalry, spearmen, intelligence, airpower, or seapower.

You can always balance the unbalanced sides with tickets. If one side have better equipment than the other one, give less tickets to that better equiped side.
