FoxHoles, possible... maybe
Idont nkow if this is a good idea or not, the only knowledge about mapping that ive got is from reading the forum.
In real life, soldirers do make foxholes, why not in PR
I heard that its impossible in PR because theirs like one layer of terrain (something like that)
But if you could do two layer of terrain :
One full of holes, and the other one covering it (that one should walkable)
Or if what ive said was total bullshit, make a foxhole a deployable asset.
See ya all on the battlefield

I would like to see foxhole of the kind on Hills Of Ham forest Flag.
a possible deployable would be a small 1-2 man sized ring of sandbags over a equal sized doughnut of sand base. A commander would deploy a set pattern of 5 (in a line or box or or scatter formations)
instead of this thread being locked for re suggestion why don't we brained storm possible ways of making personal 360 cover?

yeah we have gone over it quite extensively and it will always look like a piece of "#$##!#%#"%%....so up till now we havent done it...who knows though...could be added somewhere in the future..
problem is we cant get soldiers under the level of the terrain which means any foxhole we make will have to be higher (aka visible) than the terrain itself...making them nearly pointless as they will be like screaming...IM HERE SHOT ME APC/TANK!!!

ye, the only small way that looked to have potential is to define areas where you could make fox wholes, by digging a whole in the editor than having a static put above it, which then you could "dig" (repair) into this static to crate the fox whole. Problem is that we couldn't make them look good and blend in with the terrain, + undergrowth etc couldn't grow on them etc etc. Also another problem would be is that the only type of map where they would only be a might be able to work on was a scale 2 map, as the grids are far too big for a scale 4. Also the fox whole locations would be soon learnt by players and they would soon become meaningless, more or less.
We may look into it more in the future but for now aint going to happen any time soon I dont think.

You could build foxhole deployable areas into the maps.
ie little recessed areas in the ground which you could deploy a fox hole on to give it more cover. Though that would require editing current maps.
