Delay on VOIP/chat after player death
Is this possible? If it is, I think it would up the game play a lot more. It would encourage better squad cohesion and would make ambushes much deadlier. I would think at least a 15 sec time delay would be nice.

Yeah this sounds good. Maybe to further promote the use of a third-party VOIP program, the total abolishment of BF2's in-game system is in order. The shortfall with this is that you need extra servers to host and people changing squads need to be able to quickly change their channel.Jonny wrote:Also remember that TS/vent is possible between squads, so perhaps a better solution would be to add the latest client to each new patch/version and try to use that as the main comm system and ingame voip as secondary.

No need to take my clearly none genuine idea seriously...
I'm sure the devs would sort something out to make it less dull though, the whole thing is really stupid and needs to be fixed. Alot of the time I find it less helpful for some dead guy to tell me where someone is, cos it distracts me from paying attention to the battlefield as a whole.
