Yep. We're switching to the HK416, but in the meantime, a couple of thousand of our G3s (called AG-3 in Norway) are being upgraded to AG-3F2 standard. That is, adding lots of rails and a collapsible butt. Currently being employed in Afghanistan, and the troops are very happy with it.

Well we have been using the AG-3 for forty years so its about time we get the Hk 416 :D

i started to skinmy qbz03 , anybody know whats the max size of the texture for guns in bf2? im using a 1024 x 1024 .

very nice AG, KP! The G3 is an awesome weapon.. you just can't go wrong with 7.62x51

best pics are: stright from the side of the weapon, and if you can: top/bottom and front/back - but any other good pictures of details and from all kinds of angles are good with me :)

The.Fist, there is no freaking way those are models. Those look as if you took an actual picture of the things. Thats one of the most amazing things I have seen.

The practice is: If you don't believe they are real models, request a wireframe of it. Speaking of which, can we get a wireframe? Those look incredible!

Fist, that model has waay to many poly to fit into the BF2 engine. Trim it down a bit and then we'll talk. :D

How long did that take? Are you a professional (paid) modeler? Because if you are not, you should be. That was far better than some models you see in magazines and in TV programs.
