Needs: cocking handle, new pistol grip, rear sight, vents in the bottom part of the handguard, safety selector, trigger, small changes around the cocking handle area, work on the buttplate, etc.
Yep. We're switching to the HK416, but in the meantime, a couple of thousand of our G3s (called AG-3 in Norway) are being upgraded to AG-3F2 standard. That is, adding lots of rails and a collapsible butt. Currently being employed in Afghanistan, and the troops are very happy with it.

best pics are: stright from the side of the weapon, and if you can: top/bottom and front/back - but any other good pictures of details and from all kinds of angles are good with me

The.Fist, there is no freaking way those are models. Those look as if you took an actual picture of the things. Thats one of the most amazing things I have seen.
The practice is: If you don't believe they are real models, request a wireframe of it. Speaking of which, can we get a wireframe? Those look incredible!

Fist, that model has waay to many poly to fit into the BF2 engine. Trim it down a bit and then we'll talk.
How long did that take? Are you a professional (paid) modeler? Because if you are not, you should be. That was far better than some models you see in magazines and in TV programs.
