I'm not so keen on how it is in FH2. It makes the weapons feel/look really light and flimsy. I suppose it depends on what's being used.

Someone posted this a few months ago and the DEVs shot it down. I agree with them, what does it add to the game? It's hardly weapon swing, it's not like you hold your gun out 3 feet to your left when you're sidestepping to the left..

definately needs to be some sort of running bob. Right now you can sprint as fast as you can through a muddy jungle and keep your view perfectly steady

If you ad view wobble while sprinting it should discourage folk to go around sprinting everywhere as they wont be able to see begger all while theyre running.
Think of the added benefits to camoflauge.

We'll have aim deviation so lets stop the folk being able to run full pelt and still see concealed enemies, wobble them! :P

Imagine the panicked confusion as you sprint from cover to cover :P which is what happens, you dont have a tracking cam tracing a perfect line :P

Some sprint bobbing would definitely be a good idea. Nothing too nuts, just some bounce so you don't have an entirely clear view as you're running full out.

Mild sprint bobbing, followed by mild vision blur for being out of breath... Now that'd be good.

If you stop to notice in FH, the weapon swing isn't as much as that. I like this Idea and also, PR should check out FH's effects while aiming.... the gun does move around.

The video I believe was a test video.

Anyway, when I see myself doing the short 3-4 second sprints on the paintball field, I see almost exactly what I see in Forgotten Hope 2. If I happen to sprint from one end of the paintball field to the next, yeah, my vision becomes questionable for maybe a second or two (especially on the field at Point Mugu, gets kind of hot). Sounds good.

Accompanied with an animation of the eyes rolling back into the head? :D never thought of that, mild vision blur would be awesome when youre outta breathe, if youve just sprinted 1km you arent exactly gna be feeling tip top

Think about how you'd carry a weapon on the field. In those videos he literally switches his gun to his left hand! I know I wouldn't do that. That would look hilarious!

I would rather have sprint bobbing than fake sway. fake sway adds nothing and can detract (for me at least). Head bob could slow game play and give advantage to defenders.

Solodude i think it was satnav who created the code, fh just tweaked it to make it less exagerated

If it was satnav the one who created it everymod can use it, but the major problem, is that no matter how much your weapon swing on the screen, the bullets will always came from the center of the screen

it will still look cool and makes you see less stuff when running, you have basic weapon accuracy for not shooting straight.

love the moving weapon idea but if we just restrict it a bit it would really be good. also the heavy anti tank rifle has a support when laying down. I have heard it stated several times that this cant be done. whats up with that?
