Rally Jump

Post by Expendable Grunt »

Sevendust, a Clan mate, frapsed me doing a rally jump on Fools Road.

Keep in mind this was at the very end of a hopeless map, and it was 4AM so we where all heading off to bed.

Haha, nice catch EG - And good man for reporting it!

Whilst we're on it; MAKE THOSE RPS EASIER TO KNIFE.

I took like 12 swipes at it once last night, before just LAWing it.

Regular army RPs need 2 swipes, Milita RPs need to be knifed on certain spots.

I find that if you just lay down in the middle of 'em and keep swinging, or maybe move back a little while prone you'll get it.

He means certain spots on the RP, not on the map :P

As in, knife the wooden crate part of the RP :p

I always wondered why militia RPs had collision meshes while other RPs had them removed...

Thats the part that does not make any sense.

A rally point is just a place where the SL says to fall back to, not an actual structure IRL. The bags are just to make the gameplay better.

...Now you're getting into semantics. What "RP" and "Rallypoint" mean to the majority of players is this:
Rally Point, noun. A turd-shaped lump spawned out of a squad leader's butt when he has two or more people watching him.
YES, a rally point is *really* just a location that people return to and regroup at, but for the sake of the topic and nearly all other topics in this forum, "Rally Point" is the afore-described article.
