Visual warning for killing civilians

Post by Doedel »

At the moment, Al Basrah is my favorite map. Bar none. I've played it extensively since PRMM.

IMO, there should be far greater visual indication of the fact that harming civilians is detrimental. Not all players know this. Infact, it seems as though most don't. As a result, I rarely see British soldiers hold their fire on civilians -- usually it's just shoot on sight as if they were any other unit (on a few occasions I've seen otherwise). I recommend there be something of an on-screen warning, similar to when you fire on friendlies, if it's possible.

I approve this picture :D .

To the suggestion itself: From a realism point of view the only feasible thing would be an automated sound-message or something, but basically it should be the squadleaders duty to check what the soldiers are firing at (besides the soldier himself of course :lol :) .
