Distant sounds for apc/tanks and explosions!

I love those new distant sounds but how about adding it for apc/tanks and explosions!

explosions - yes
vehicle engines - not doable, since the most vehicles needs all sound spots for engine sounds

There are distance effects...a hummer that's 200 meters away isn't as loud as one that is 2.

these are the build in bf2 sound engine distance filters. but these filters doesnt work that good. far away doesnt really sound like far away ingame..
the air obstruction isnt high enough and the volume does a linear fade, instead a logaritmic one.. :(

For explosions would be nice.

And I take it thats hard coded? Logarithmic audio fade would be great.

lol sorry guys i meant apc firing and tanks firing sorry about the confusing!
Is that gonna get added together with those awsome distant sounds that showed up in the 0.7 aswell with the explosions as well?

I'd much rather let the BF2 air absorption take care of that. Too many problems giving distant sounds to those, especially APC's.

ohh hows that you manage too make the firing sounds amazingly good why not for the apc/tanks firing sound then including the explosions as well?
