There is only one problem i can think of. Even now, that we have a scoped rifleman ppl use the ammo rifleman very rarely. Then there is Rifleman AT, also with a scope. If we put sights on the grenadiers rifle, then noone will use the ammo rifleman kit. There will be 5 light ATs, 5 grenadiers and still: scoped rifleman, which are all "superior" to ammo rifleman. It is annoying enough that we have to find the nearest firebase/bunker to rearm because noone has ammo available...
Maybe its just me, but there were 2-3 times since 0.7 came out when a ammo rifleman rearmed me...
I like the idea though because i really like grenadier, just thought i would share this concern with you.

So, in each squad we can have a max of:
1 officer
1 grenadier
1 auto rifleman
1 light AT
Now, since with 32 people you must have at least 6 squads to effectively deploy everyone, not every squad can have everything. And, not all kits will always be in play. Also, the choice of having ammo right out the gates, or having 2 guys with ammo in a squad, is quite appealing to some. Personally, I use it when necessary, but it does have its place. Also, the rifleman AB class is prime for giving other weapons, such as claymores for ambushing or a shotgun for breaching.

I agree - not only is it realistic and will benefit gameplay by lengthening engagement distances to more realistic levels, but on a sheer computer tech limitation, there just are not enough pixels on screen for any resolution to compensate for the abilities of the mk.1 eyeballFungwu wrote:Why not just give everyone scopes? engineer, medic, ammo rifleman, etc?
