Why? You may ask. Well, I feel like it. I love making seemingly pointless posts, if it helps one person on the battlefield.
For example, I once wrote up a piece about the realUSS Essex and how the In-Game L85A1 matches up to the real one. I'm so sad.
So, on with the post!
Because in PRMM, you cannot change cameras to 3rd person (and rightly so), it greatly limits your FOV (Field of View). You need to be on the look out constantly and use what you have to navigate the area.
So, I did this. Heres a summary of what you can see in the Humvee and DPV as a driver.
Humvee

FOV Shot

Looking as far left as possible.

Far right as possible.
As you can see, looking all the way right enables you to see fairly well out of the back for reversing. Use this to your advantage as much as possible - don't reverse while looking ahead, turn around and look out the back to avoid unnessesary damage/death.
Note that if you have passengers, this greatly decreases your ability to see - the gunners legs and the two people sitting in the back block most of the view, so keep this in mind. If you must, get them to direct you were possible, because not only can they see, they can see a lot better than you can even without them sitting there.
The Blind spot on the Humvee is relatively small when compared to the others, but still is fairly large. Keep in mind what you can and can't see at all times. Always think where your blind spot is and avoid getting into a situation where you'd not be able to see and spot an enemy because of it.
Remember, as driver of the vehicle, it is your job to navigate properly with little or no damage to the vehicle. Do you see real drivers looking straight ahead? If you have communications with the passengers, then use them, but you should be competent enough to do it on your own, really.
Next up: DPV and PLA/MEC Vehicles.
