Lately when flying the little bird I have been locked on by heat seakers. Its just a solid tone as if the missile has been launched and then begins tracking me. It seems the AA vehicle drivers are aware of this and launch missiles in the vicinity of the little bird without a lock on.
My question: Is this occurring purposely from P.R. design? or is this like similar bugs found in vanilla BF2?
I have flown a ton in the little bird and this is a new situation.

Yes, since 0.75 the little bird has a heat source just like every other helicopter. But you also got flares again now. Just use them. (afaik, didnt fly it yet, but thats in the manual)
Oh, and the AA has been improved since 0.7, they lock on really fast and you hear it too late most of the time
