Next personal attack will net warning points.

You certainly seem to be demonstrating your experience at the moment. Do you actually play PR in multi-player or are you just guestimating now? Surely you must be playing a different game than we are.
Well, we are obviously not playing the same game...
Just because you get the Suppression Effect (SE) doesn't mean you cant fire. The SE has no effect on accuracy that I am aware of. If you lined up the target before he fires on you first, you can click the mouse and still hit him. I see it happen a lot and I have done it a lot. Even while not being able to see ****. Hell I did the same thing to Spearhead during build testing.
You have a point there, but i dont see that as a big issue since i move when someone is shooting at me instead of sitting in the same spot while hes firing at me.
Yes you can take out multiple opponents if they are to close together. Very easily as well. I did that very thing 2 nights ago. Two players where lying prone on a hill side, and I opened fire. I missed both of them, but it activated the SE for both and they didn't have any idea where I was. Two shots later they were both KIA. That was a distance of 183 meters according to the attack marker that I placed on there bodies after the fact. I was also standing up at the time.
And what exactly is so wrong with that? They made a mistake and should be punished for that. If that was in 0.7, im sure you would have lots of fun in clicking the mouse button 50 times to hit one of them...
You are correct on one thing though. You can't Run-N-Gun in game anymore. However, you CAN Run-Stop-Gun, and you can fire just as well when you stop as you could have in .6 release.
Again, if you face multiple oppenents and if they arent playing with their feet, they will kill you.
Never argue with an idiot, he will just drag you down to his level and beat you by experience

Yes, we move too when someone is shooting at us, but that is not the point.Waaah_Wah wrote:You have a point there, but i dont see that as a big issue since i move when someone is shooting at me instead of sitting in the same spot while hes firing at me.
In v.7 I NEVER had to click 50 times to kill someone, NEVER. Like Wolfe said, theres more to PR than just killing or "clicking 50 times until I get lucky." You also missed Rico's point. He was able to get a headshot almost 200m out against a couple of guys on a hillside. It shouldn't be that easy.Waaah_Wah wrote:And what exactly is so wrong with that? As with my previous post, not entirely true at all.Waaah_Wah wrote:Again, if you face multiple oppenents and if they arent playing with their feet, they will kill you.
Well... it seems that we are getting no where with these arguments, lets just hope the DEVs do the right thing.

I don't like the .7 deviation and like it more now, it's not perfect put then that is not the DEV's fault and if someone gets sway to work I'll be happy. Then you can try and compensate for sway and pull the trigger when it sways to the point you want having holes put into.
That's how you fire in real life, breath in barrel drops breath out barrel moves up. I used to squeeze the trigger when I exhale. I hope you make it work as I strongly dislike seeing a bullet veer off away from where I have my aiming points. I do not mind though having those difficult shots made far more difficult because my sights are swaying back and forth. It would also make a kill for more pleasurable especially if ballistics where a factor!
Also, stop painting gamers with such a broad brush. I love having a high K/D ratio, I also love working as a team. I like flying the helo's I like sniping sometimes, sometimes I like being Mr Truck driver. Sometimes I just feel like being a Rambo wannabe.
There are some real big ego's and opinions here on what is real and what is not. How many of you have any clue what is real and not when it comes to firing a weapon in combat? I'm willing to bet very few as I've not seen one personal "when I was in Afganistan in a firefight" story...... I've been shooting for a long time and am ex military (not a vet though) and rifles are accurate, it's all down to the shooter and conditions but at 100 to 200M my bullets went where I wanted them to. This again is why I'm loving the sway and ballistics idea so we can pitch random deviation into the bin. Good luck with it, I bet it's hard to work out.

That's cool. Sometimes I feel like playing Rambo and just running and gunning too. I usually load up BF2 when I'm in that mood. Maybe you should too. Run-N-Gun is much more fun in BF2 than in PR, at least you have a chance of staying alive longerCDN-SMOKEJUMPER wrote:Sometimes I just feel like being a Rambo wannabe.

As for the ego, and combat veteran part of your statement. I don't feel like that was aimed at me, but I will respond with my feelings on it anyway.
I am a combat veteran. I have many "when I was in such-n-such a place in a firefight" kinds of stories. But you nor anyone else will ever hear a single dam one of those stories! Because frankly it's none of your business, and many things are still "CLASSIFIED". Also there are many events in those stories that I would rather not journey to again, if you know what I mean.
Besides all that, some people won't believe your story if you were to tell it anyway, so why bother. There are many knuckleheads on this and other forums that won't believe anything you tell them, no matter how many people swear it to be true. Mostly because they are close-minded know nothings that put their "faith" in so-called experts.
You said you were prior service, then you of all people should know better than to ask for something like that on a public forum! Furthermore I don't have to share a story for people to understand or believe what I'm saying.
In addition to all that, I'm a big game Hunter. I reload my own ammo for my all my rifles, and up to 18 months ago I competed in local long rifle matches. So I know a thing or two about shooting, ballistics, and expected rifle accuracy. You will just have to take my word for it, and if you can't do that then we can't go any further.
We will just have to agree to disagree and part as friends. I have no reason to mislead anyone here, so I think you need to back up and punt. Like I said, I don't feel your statement was aimed at me, but that's how I feel about it nonetheless.

That argument has been beaten to the ground, don't start it up again.Mora wrote:The solders are trained and not some amateurs.
