Anti Air Vehicles

Post by [uBp]Irish »

So i just played Kashan last night while on mec in their AA vehicle. Has anyone else noticed a change with the handling? It drives so awkwardly, and turns on a dime, which makes it hard to steer. Am i the only one thats had this feeling? or does it just take a lot of time to get used too?

mobile AA was always the worst vehicle. It can barely climb slopes, even a normal road could defeat it

well i'm talking about how it handles. like i got in it and drove and like.. it was turning on a dime and i had trouble keeping it in a straight line.. i dunno, i'm not really liking it any more. used to be a mediocre vehicle.

the tunguska's steering is definitely changed although while more frustrating to drive, it's definitely more realistic in some handling respects compared to rl (non-mil) tracked vehicles I've been in - feels less like the big slow car it was before

yea, the tunguska, is like.. turn on a dime, and for me i could barely keep it going in a straight line. i got the hang of it, but it was still very weird. and is there anyway we can get that giant disk out of the gunner's sights?

It is because of the stabilization. The turret stays no matter how you turn, so you don´t know if you turn and it doesn´t help being sensitive.

Also, apart from the indicator there is no reference turret to vehicle on the direction your facing.

Thats probably there on purpose and it discourages low level firing on infantry?

I thought it was called Project Reality and not Project Make it enjoyable by dumbing stuff down and overpowering other stuff.

If you are talking about the "disk", I think it is the radar dish.

Yep, i saw that the handling now is somehow slippy in all AAs
The indicator of the turret position is on the bottom-right part of the screen :)

I used it in a TG tourney and the stabalization is to much, I cant drive it straight.
It OVER steers way to much now.

I noticed this as well. It makes it frustrating as HELL to drive. I'd like to suggest that it becomes two-manned, if possible.

well, i think it's ok as a signle seat vehicle, not totally overpowering, but yea, the stabilization makes it rediculously frustrating to drive.

AAs dont fire on infantry... And the mod is called Project lets make all the stuff that is weak in real-life overpowered and the stuff that is powerful in real-life unusable.

oh i must add that i love the stabilization :D :D
