what i meant to say, is a little base outside the city for the brits, like pretty much VCP for albasrah but on 3 sides of the city??

TBH, I think USA just fit better in urban areas, and the GB on maps like helmand and sangin, raiding villages and distance fighting.

This would be an awesome "Insurgency" map for PR.I would possibly help make it,but I'm lazy lately,so I'm not in the mapping mood,lol.

i would also like to see off limites zones for the US, like main base is to insurgency on Basrah

What is the story with this map? Still being worked on?

If done right, I think it could be the next Fallujah West and prove to be very popular. ;)

USMC doesnt use apache, they use cobra, so replace apache with cobra so we'll be fine

insugents get only 4 technikals? while the USMC gets APCs and gunships? y do so many people want to nerf INS?
i say give INS 8 technikals and 4 or more jihad suicide cars, and the Al Quds (AK/RPK like weapons). just to help even it up.

Why are you lot discussing spawn time and assets on a year old map that never was, as far as i can tell?

IMO its even enough, I dont want to start a flame war, just put across my point of view. But i think that with the amount of spawn points, and the manpower that the insurgents have, the battle can go either way.

IMO Insurgents have just as much chance of beating the Coalition as the Coalition beating the insurgents and i dont think it should change.

But you know, A few more suicide cars couldnt do any harm :) :razz:

i gues you didnt watch the video link :b you should was great and showed a terrific battle between the USMC, US Army, & the US Airforce VS the Insurgents.

but they dont need bomb cars all they need is stratigic advandeges

There is no way this map would be fair for the insurgent team. Not only will they have to worry about ticket loses, they have nowhere the firepower of mobilty as the US. 4 technicals is all your thinking of giving the insurgents. My guess is that no one would ever play as the insurgents on this map. The only thing the insurgents have going for them in PR is that don't have to go toe to toe with the conventional forces. They can plant ambushes and wait for the US to come to them. There is no way that they will even come close to putting up a fight in any AAS map. Make it an insurgent map and it will probably be very fun. But as an AAS map, nobody will play as the insurgent side. Especially with the vehicle layout that was proposed. Not even close to being fair.
