Will this problem be addressed in .8?
Ive searched around everywhere and have only got mixed remedies for the md5tool mismatch bull****. This thread isn't me asking for one, if it was i would have posted in the correct area. My only question is if the DEV's are going to adress this problem that alot of players have. I know how the porblem was caused and i know the DEV's intention's were good but now this a big problem on hand that i think needs to be addressed. Im currently switching to FH2/FH1 for the time being because i can no longer play PR and theres no definate way to fix it because its different for everybody. Please tell me this is being adressed by the DEVs because as of now im no longer able to play PR MP.

Just wondering..., what are their reasons behind not playing PR anymore/rarely? The clan im in plays PR sporadically now, theyve taken to playing other games more since the .7 release. I hear such reasons for not playing as md5 mismatch, gameplay, other games offer more "realism", graphically old,server/map crashes too often etc etc etc. Just wondering if the reasons are the same?

one of the big reasons with my guys is the bullet deviation system now its turned pr to run and gun with prone dive (vanila),before 0.7 you played slower and with care and your shots hit not like now, were a trained soilder cant hit a guy in the back from 50 yards with out them turning and rolling around and killing you with one shot ,we to have been looking at other games to move onto, i have played pr for several years now and never seen the server so empty i realy hope 0.8 brings back the buzz to pr and soon

Chrs maz for the info...,I thought it was just a boredom thing in our clan that was causing this. It seems theres a wider problem with similar reasons causing it.
I think it would be interesting to note ( even if its just for the devs to possibly address ) if any other clans have the same problems with players moving to other games because of patch changes?

Not really. T&T always play other games; currently we're into Lock On and Raven Shield alongside our PR.
Why would anyone ever play only one game? That's gauranteeing that you're going to get fed up with it eventually.
Variety is the spice of life; don't blame the game for becoming boring, blame your clan members for not enjoying a varied gaming diet

yeh our clan has always been into other games too..., im just trying to establish if the reason for playing PR less are the changes that have been made or down to more bugs introduced.'[R-MOD wrote:Masaq;663531']Not really. A lot of .:iGi:. members gave up also on PR, although quite a few still play.
And I get very frustrated at times, infantry is no more fun, spawns are too long, some imbalances, the incredible stupidity of some random pubs, lack of communication etc...
Most of the time I find myself trying to play PR, unless I am lucky playing with a few friends on a good team, I go and play around on AIX.

I'd join up
MD5 is probably fixable by the user, and the number of computer literate ppl here is probably higher than most online gaming communities, but so many ppl can't be bothered with the hassle. I remember when Joint Ops started having its major bugs I couldn't be bothered with that anymore- moved on to vBF2. Thankfully PR came along to fill the void.

Edit- I swear I read ur post as "what can the devs do?" or equivalent???? I think I'm going insane, anyway what they can do is...[R-PUB]bosco wrote:The md5 problem is client side, and the shaders won't be removed because of that...
A sticky with a condensed version of kilroy0097's thread and any other thread with pertinent information would be a start. If its offical ppl are more likely to use it and trust it, and also it would help every1 find the info.
I cant think of anything else the devs can do.
Unless FH2 had these problems and sorted them? (I don't know, havent played FH2 much)
