Project Reality spilling over???

Post by [=TC=]nuetron »

Hello, currently my computer is broken(AGAIN AGAIN!). But before it broke this most recent time, I noticed in another mod that when I was shot at the screen, "shook" if you will, like it does in PR when you are being shot at. Then I was hit and was dying, but before so, the screen turned that DARK grey in the middle, black on top/bottom oreo picture as you are bleeding to death. I cannot really describe this, but hopefully you guys knpw what I mean. I was just wondering if certain parts of PR were "spilling over" again, if you will: into other mods that I have. :? ??:

Although, in the real reality, everything goes black for like 2 seconds when you get shot at, followed by lots and lots of screaming, yeah, that would be the "blackout" effect.

I think this is the same thing that happened to me with FH2, but the other way around.

They told me that if I started FH2 up and exited properly it would fix itself, since this problem is apparently caused by a CTD or other improper exit.

Yup... that'll happen if you crash. Just load up PR and quit normally, as Rudd said. :)

Forgotten Hope 2 had the suppression effect first. Due to the Black Sands Studio modding community the mod teams will exchange items used in the mods, hence why we finally gained the suppression effect, and had crucial help integrating it from the original creators of it. All praise to them!

FH2 Suppression effect is exactly the same as PR, as PR Dev team, used the same idea, from the same developers of FH2.

I got it, what i do, is create a different character name for FH2, cos that works don't it?? But i did get a black and white screen with FH2 sometimes, but doesn't bother me too much, makes it seem more realistic!!

Done the same, I just added -FH2 to my account. For example Brummie-FH2.

OOOOOOOO, okay, I was playing Fogoteen Hope and I was shot a couple(2) times and as I was dying I saw the screen going black on the top and bottom, with the center along with most of the screen going very dark grey, I saw it happen in a PR video and I thjought it was the same thing.
Not when you are being shot AT and there is trauma like in PR, but when you are hit and the screen goes darker and darker.

nevermind, guess its not a feature..

In both PR and FH, the shader effects will 'spill over' the respective .exe is closed improperly.
