Opening this thread for something you consider should be added/changed/improved in PR. It shouldn't be something complicated and explained with over 1000 words just giving the dev's some ideas they can consider to make the game better and more realistic. Something that just struck your mind.
My first suggestion is: When using your binoculars the screen is just flat. Realistically you breath so the binoculars should follow that concept, that means there should be a wave up and down simulating your breathing and when using the binoculars you should see them adapt to your breathing.

Re: Small improvement thread
nicoliani, i thought the weapon float/drift was hardcoded or something...
Another issue with binoculars: you can still binoc-shoot and aim iron sight weapons by lining up heads with binoc crosshairs and pulling out the rifle without moving the center of the screen.
Either the binoc range-finder crosshair things should be removed or moved to the side

Re: Small improvement thread
Maybe it has something to do with 3d and 2d sights.
However, i dont think its hardcoded, the only thing thats hardcoded is that the bullet really comes out of the barrel of the gun, it only comes out of the center of the screen. So, you have a moving scope, but the bullet still comes out of the center. An easy exploit would be pressing Q and using the center of the middle order to aim.
But for binocs these problems shouldnt exist, so it "could" be possible.

One small thing that annoys me is after blowing a bridge the engineers only have to repair the bridge to a very minimal amount of health to make the bridge useable. It would be cool to make it so the low health bridge could only support light vehicles when still damaged, i.e. a tank/apc would break the bridge when driving over, depending on the HP left in the bridge.

That is something. How it would be done, I don't know, but the cheap sand bridges in Basrah village break if repaired minimally and a car drives too fast over it, crashing against the bridge itself.Death_dx wrote:One small thing that annoys me is after blowing a bridge the engineers only have to repair the bridge to a very minimal amount of health to make the bridge useable. Small thing: give the AA pickup for Insurgents a cheap smoke nade, brought up by DavidP originally. It'd give the kit a handy smoke screen and emphasize it's tactical importance and proper use.

the jeep mounted HMGs are too close to the eye when you look down irons. It should be more like in the pic with the deployable HMGs in the Dev Jounral.

animation, it is possible but it wouldnt effect where the bullet goes it is just the crosshairs that move and if you ask then why dont we have breathing it is cus we dont have enough animators to re do 100 animations.

Make it so the tanks stop drifting when you stop. The trees in Qinling are like magnetic. Those are big issues.
