Damn! That map is gonna rock!
:D
An awesome thing is the spawn in air so that it's a parachute ops. I'd been kinda suggesting this at the PoE2 forums.
Great to see someone took this initiative early here.

Looking at the WIP pictures I suddenly feel like if I had been there before... It looks very familiar to that CoD4 scenario were you got to take on the missile facility in order to destroy the 2 ICBMs midair that have been launched previously.

It's a great work! keep up! ^^

No matter how "ghey" airborne spawn in the plane is, it is still very cool and enjoyed by everyone. Sure you can get them to start on the ground, but come on, is that exciting?
Good work marc; post a minimap (no one cares if it looks bad) keep trucking

no you see there are good ways and bad ways of doing everything. Having a parshute spawn is "cool" in deed, but doing it with a shitty static plane which players whould not even be jumping out of is gay.

again marcoelnk add me to xfire/msn and talk to me and I will tell you what the good ways of doing air drop spawns if you want them.

Just to let you guys know I've talked with marconelnk, who is now a R-CON about my ideas of better ways than having a static plane, although we are not going to tell you what thous concepts are yet since most of it is theory thou should work with any luck, this is what he had to say to it :)
[R-DEV]Rhino says:
much better than a static plane hu?
marconelnk says:
10000 times better
marconelnk says:
thank you
so just to let you guys know, we are planning something much cooler, funner and better for game play as well as much more realistic ;)

My advice for you marco: make sure the map has some interesting areas for infantry. And by interesting areas, I dont just mean some buildings etc.

The forests can make for awesome infantry fights, but the terrain is a HUGE consideration when having infantry battles. Consider the bunker area in kashan, and all the little trenches and divets that it has. This is what infantry need in order to stay alive - varying terrain with many holes to hide in. Just something to keep in mind to make this map really great... it does look awesome and I love the fact its 4km!
