Night Vision Equipment

I know SF did it, but would it be possible to do it for PRM?
I know a certain map maker is working on some night time levels so this would come in handy and realy give the map some feeling.

There are several Tutorials on how to do this located on the mod forums. not sure how good it looks.

I agree, nightvision would be a very nice addition. What would be even better would be IR cameras for tanks and choppers though that would probably be a programmers nightmare.

Well i think the devs know there is no point to having nightvision without night maps :roll: , so i think they will also make nightmaps to accompany the nightvision.

That would be sick to have NV in vehicles.

As for the night maps, i believe someone is currently making one, forget who tho.

I was thinking about this last night. If we do add night vision it MUST INCLUDE these things:

- when lowering and raising the night vision scope, you are unable to fire and it takes around 2 seconds to take on and off (this suggests that the sight is attached to the soldiers helmet)

- the night vision must make basic adjucments to surrounding light. Too much and poeple would never take it off but too little and it is unrealistic and it would be really anoying. (modern versions adjust to surrounding light - do not get easily blinded)
