It's less accurate than a water gun for crying out loud.

It needs to be fixed especially if the Grenadier class will be limited

Its good if you stop and wait for like 5-10 secs, then it flies straight.

You must crouch or go prone, then make sure you are zoomed. Practice will give you the accuracy you are looking for. I have been able to acheive very good accuracy with this weapon after using this method.

basically, you have to wait for a bout 2 or 3 seconds to shoot.

the m203 is nerfed because the class limits arn't in yet. once we have class limits, we can un nerf a lot of stuff, as the only reason it is nerfed is that it would be unbelievable and incredible hard to fight against a bunch of uber guns.

I think you guys need to up the damage of the M203/GP-30 because it cannot take out a vehicle in 2 shots, but mostly 4-5 at best. The thing is accurate if you know how to use it, and I can just about hit any target with it if I stop for a sec, but the damage on the vehicles is what is hurting it. Damage for players is fine, but for the vehicles is just rediculas and unless you have an AT or time, you are screwed from the vodnik/humvee.

I think its fine as it is.

Stops it being spammed, and you need to wait longer and line it up.

I thought a PR DEV said it was impossible to put classes limits in the BF2 engine.

not 100% possibal, its possibal but its not very flexibal and would not be worth using the only the devs can think of and it didnt really work anyways.

But its still being looked into.

grenades should have fragmentation damage, not splash damage like they curently do...

Damage definitely needs to be up'd. If it doesn't land within ten feet of someone, it doesn't kill

I am not really concerned about it being a killer weapon when it isn't within 10 feet, I am just saying up the damage in someway so that it will be much more effective on vehicles, even though it will be more effective infantry too probably. But think of Blackhawk Down and how Ewan McGregor shot the
M203 at the truck with the MG firing.

The M203/GP-30 etc. wouldn't even faze that truck if it was in the game. If there is a way, maybe you guys could make the arming time higher and damage higher in the process to keep the noob tubing down. Dice didn't do that great of a job in changing the grenade launcher.

in reality a fragmentation grenade wouldnt do much damage to a vehicle at all. im assuming the grenade from BHD was a HE grenade. it would be nice if assault could carry jsut one HE...

Yea, I agree. I would like to see at least another type, even if limited in ammo, M203 fired grenade that could do some more damage or something else. It would be nice if the M203 could take a lot more different kinds of rounds, because then they could fire smokes out of the M203, even if this isn't used much in RL.

That's why we use HEDP. And they can destroy vehicles. Not armored, or anything like totally blown up from an at-4 or a tank. But it will shred things up nicely.

The problem is they bounce off vehicles and then explode. So the damage is not direct.
