The dev's stated pretty clearly (here) that only three caches would spawn at any given time, but neither the manual nor real game time experience support that. I still see "cache destroyed" messages but no change in the insurgent map cache locations (purple and blue markers). Seems like the caches are all there so If the opposing force maintains the search and destroy methodology, they will likely be more successful. You can move into areas that the insugents don't expect and move with relative ease, as opposed to the areas theinsurgents have set up their ambushes. I'd much rather move into areas where the enemy isn't waiting for me.

I stand corrected. The manual states, "A maximum of 3 caches are in the game world at the same time."

Yea the southern most point is a CP that can be taken by the US and not a weapons cache for destruction.
