Impressions about the Commander Role in .8

Post by <<SpanishSurfer>> »

I don't like it at all, I gave it multiple attempts for entire rounds and it was not fun at all. Staring at a 2D map throughout the entire battle is just too boring, I can't even build anything anymore. Being stuck in the command post is boring I suggest revamping the commander role.

i have to disagree here. thats what a commander does, he isnt a front line unit, and him going out and getting killed is never good. but i can see your point. it would be nice if the commander had more freedoms, or responsibilities, and he had a more direct influence than "Squad 5 go here" and hoping they accept.
