Even if this was done, half of the ladscape would need altering to make it feasible for a dam to be there.

Doh, ppl, That is a special forces dam destruction and aircraft-carrier-paradrop testing area. As such, it is an important target of course, thats why they are fighting there.

interesting but unrealistic cause the dam would be useless if the water can simply flow around the "island" would require some huge changes (roads , statics etc)

Actually Smeg, not a bad idea!
[R-DEV]Jaymz - If it wasn't for the F-18's incompetence, "Independence Day" would have ended half-way through.

Everyone mentions that the dams position is unrealistic on Jabal - and obviously it is - but imo it is still one of the most fun maps in PR, and Ive took part in some really great battles on this map. Personally Id be very sorry to see it go - I never get bored of it.

Jabal's always been a fun map to play on both sides. I do like the idea of a mostly flooded map centring around a dam though.
MEC main (<-> Village) <-> Dam West <-> Dam East (<-> Town) <-> USMC Main
APCs, Trans. helis, jeeps, maybe just one attack helo each.
Pretty symettrical map really, both in design and loudouts.
