A couple of suggestions

I was talking with a couple of my friends on the battlearena server and i came up with a few ideas that would just be cool for this mod. (as if its not already cool enough :grin: )

1. this is the number one coolest tthing that would be awsome for this mod, a mission that starts of with an airborn landing. get a C17 or so, i think i can hold about 30 people correct me if im wrong, and give everyone a one time use parachute or have them have an automatically ejected chute once they exit the plane.


it should start on the groun very far away from objective (mabye insugency?) and it will require 2 pilots to operate. then everyone pilles into the plane (no other vehicles) and force everyone to exit one at a time at a specific time. then once they hit the ground essentially force them to find their squands and get on with the mission. (thoughts?)


2. I always wondered why the special ops carried the M4.. the weapon they should carry is an FNH SCAR, its used by special operations forces by the US right now because it is more reliable... just saying :roll:

3. weapon jamming.. this might have already been covered but all the weapons we use in PR have a large tenancy to jam. just give an animation for it giving a 5% chance to jam when firing full auto. it may give troops a need to be moe tactifull and kepp firebases from being pinned down indefinatly in some cases.

4.in regards to the thread below mine. pilots should have an ejector seat. but they only have a pistol, not much defense. give them an objective if they end up ejecting.. to get to their ejected seat and grab a submachine gun and their one red smoke grenade.

5. survivalist kit a kit that you can grab to give you some guille (not full but partial, think vietnamese) give them an anti personel grenade mine (step on it...*click*... boom) and a short range marksman rifle like a psg-1,and an uzi. this should be like the spotter class that will keep snipers protected. give them a limeted use medical kit.

resuggestion and is hardcoded because a vehicle cannot hold more than 8 people at the same time...

This would just make things too complicating, and you waste 2 people which can be a valuable asset in the team...

I think that the M4 does not need changing anyway, its a good weapon...

Would be nice but i dont think it is needed. There are already a great number of kits for specific roles..

hardcoded I'm afraid, as said above. There can only be 8 seats per vehicle.

No need to change that really. I mean, the special forces can use whatever they want, and what is needed for the objective (ie. suppressed for stealth, scoped for long range...) - the M4 is just somewhere in the middle, and the SCAR would not play out any different - would just need a new model.

Hardcoded, sadly. There is no real way to simulate that, except from using the overheat-feature, but... that'd be kinda not really realistic

There cant be a seat being dropped when a pilot jumps out. Otherwise, the seat would be dropped even if the jet is landed already. The pilot COULD go to the wreck (if its still there) to get that stuff though, but often the wrecks dont survive.

PSG-1? They have money, but not THAT much :p A G3 would do the trick too - anyway, the Special Forces are good spotters. Medics are good medics, and Snipers are good Snipers. Giving a kit a mine, DMR, a SMG AND a medic bag would just be overkill and would be mis-used.

Locked for reasons pointed out by our scarily efficent community.
The key to modernising any weapon is covering them in glue and tossing them in a barrel of M1913 rails until they look "Modern" enough.
