Just another good job goes out to the devs then.
(The again, if BF2 creators never made BF2, we wouldnt be playing PR, so i guess they were just a stepping stone to something much much bigger and better.)

Hey that would be good for every1, or at least they could put links to mods on the EA digital store.Danolboy wrote:If I was EA/dice, I'd release a special "anniversary" edition of bf2 that included an extra disk containing all of the most popular mods.

People worked on that game. They got paid for it, but it's not like they were the people behind the counter selling the game. They put a lot of work into it, and I'd venture a guess that a lot of them like doing what they're doing. So, now they get to see their work still used and expanded by a solid community of dedicated modders and players. I dunno, but I'd think they'd at least feel proud of their work.IAJTHOMAS wrote:Doubt they'd care much. They've made their money and moved on, created the game they wanted and it sold. Its not like PR is capable of releasing a full game on its own, and even if they were to do so it wouldn't be aimed at the same target market, its not a game that would appeal to EA's typical core consumer.
