I believe they should be a faction that would have some Sea Knights, *submarines*, a carrier, parachute spawning (maybe), some transport boats that have some physics like the Merlin, you can just stand on it, and you won't die.
*Imagines a boat filled with troops not sitting, but standing landing on a beach just as a Sea Knight lands, unloading troops*
I would love this!

Re: US Navy Seals
Sea Knights are a resuggestion.
Standing safely in a moving vehicle is impossible in the BF2 engine, the Merlin can't do it properly
Submarines are primarily anti-naval forces, with the option of long-range support through cruise missiles. The map's far too small for the missiles and there's nothing like enough space or people able to make models for a naval battle.
Parachute spawning...meh. Pretty vulnerable and useless really.

We had a night map and we had a map with para spawns. Neither worked out too well. I'm afraid that combining the two wouldn't yield better results.creepinshadow24/7 wrote:altough, i'd love to see a night map with para spawns!!

Hi, SF factions (including the Navy SEALs), submarines, sea knights, paratroopers, and new transport boats have all been suggested before.

The key to modernising any weapon is covering them in glue and tossing them in a barrel of M1913 rails until they look "Modern" enough.
