The current Kashan looks like "puke." Ejod's sky box is much better. It also has a 2,000 meter view distance. This is much closer to what the sky looks like real life. I hope will consider this in a future release (.85).
It looks good but I am sure there is a reason it is as it is.
but what do I know.
*It does look pretty.

The only reason it'll be brown sky is because there is a sand storm
At which point both sides will be retiring to their storm shelters to wait it out cause nothing will work in the storm
Looks great! Only problem I see with it is aircraft, mostly jets, will have no form of hiding from their opponents jets, which is completely realistic, but can not be perfectly implemented into the game(AKA Huge Play Spaces etc.) But I still love it, its gorgeous.

i though kashan har blue sky? wait, i remember peering after attack helos in the brown "fog".
i don't care if the attackhelos can be spotted, they'd be really far away anyway.
It doesn't matter at what range it is the tanks will have the advantage over the attack choppers. Sure the attack choppers can destroy a tank with one hellfire. But to do that they first need to be in range as the hellfire has a range of 1200M and if the view distance is 2000M.. the tanks can just shoot us out of the air with their uber zoom and accurate cannons
Even before we can see them as they have ground cover and well attack choppers are a black dot in the middle of the air wich is hard to miss.
Also the attack chopper has to get in a cosy hover to fire his shot, which the tank looks at and laughs, waits a bit, laughs some more, fires and goes on his way. At which point a hellfire has landed somewhere in the desert not really close to anything.
"Today's forecast calls for 30mm HE rain with a slight chance of hellfires"
"oh, they're fire and forget all right...they're fired then they forget where the target is"
tanks should not be able to shoot attack choppers @ all.
Its really unrealistic, and in pr the attack choppers are heavy underpowered...
No radar, no stable cam, not able to look and track a target and so on...
I think everybody agree with me that in RL a tank has no chance against a attack chopper.
Think the tank would be down before he even noticed that the chopper is there.
Dont get me wrong, i dont want the hardcore attack choppers that click and kill everything in one shoot, but think some tweaking must be happen with them.
But i think it would not happen, because on the most maps there are no attack choppers @ all.
And the maps wich a chopper is cool to use dont run often (Quingling) or in the wrong version (kashan)

Absurd. Tanks even have special ammunition to combat aircraft. If the chopper is stupid, that chopper deserves to die.
