Lower the spawn time.
Place spawn points on caches. Cache destroyed=spawn point destroyd.
More RPG's and PKM's (in 0.85 Al-Quds IIRC).
Lower the car spawn time to 5 min for technicals and civi cars, 10 min for bomb cars and 15 min for Big Red.
Can we have mortars? Not those mortars, but mortars like in FH2?
EDIT. Why the hell militia and ins marksman kit has only 3 mags? (Maybe I'm wrong, lulz)

IMO those are very interesting suggestions, this is why I am quoting them. I am in favor of those changes, they will most certainly bring back the fun in Insurgency mode

Zastava in Yugoslavia actually still makes the SKS.

As for the grenades they are NATO spec rifle grenades that have been around since WW2 so I would think there is someone out there with some.

I would actually suggest that the grenadier for insurgents be the yugo sks with rifle grenades if they decide to bring selectable kits to them.

It has a 10 round magazine, is semi auto and shoots a fairly good hunting round? It is probably because it doesn't make the greatest military rifle for today's combat and is semi auto only so they market it as a civilian rifle.

I own a chinese sks made for the civilian market, my father owns a 'sporter' version and my brother owns an older Russian model. SKS is out there it is like the AKs ugly cousin.

The 7.62x39 round that the AK and SKS fire is about like the old lever action .30-30 round as far as game, so it makes a decent bush gun for hunting medium game as long as you use soft point ammo.

Both of these are perfectly legal here in the US anyway.

There are a variety of weapons the insurgents could end up with, but the most common would be those in former USSR calibers.
