just download TheBattleArena s version of al bas the switched out Brits with USA and other little changes but they kept the random spawns and it runs great

I think its only crashed maybe once or twice and it wasnt even at the end of the round (the whole problem that happened before)

I'd love to see a second version of Muttrah, with MEC fighting insurgents.

I want Muttrah v2 DAY 2, rather than ins vs USMC, it would be the MEC counter attack with TANKS and a BMP in the urban environment where the MEC get like 6 tanks spawning at the road leading from muttrah and USMC get 1 tow hummer, 1 bradley and a tank or two with the two LAVs from the previous day and continuing cobra support after 5/10 mins (being rearmed and refueld etc) not sure what to do with the hueys, probably have only 1 or two for supplies and transport if the MEC tanks aren't around. (spawning at the docks in as if having been landed after the first day's battle.

USMC spawn at the castle and docks, all flags in between up for grabs in AAS format.

Would be epic.

Good idea.

We could have a destroyed Muttrah (Not completly destroyed floks ;) ) but a Ramiel Style Muttrah whit Ins inside.. using G3 (abandoned by the MEC) and AK47

I dont think Muttrah City fits the Insurgent backdrop... Maybe if it was a bit more dirty, with a different sky.. like dusk.

Hell yeah, I really like this idea! Except I'd rather just see a USMC-skinned Abrams and LAV-25, than the Bradley or TOW-Humvee as well.

Would be uber cool, if we could eventually get the AAV-7A1, LAV-AT, CH-46/MV-22, CH-53E and AV-8B for a full-on Marine assault, launched from 2 assault ships (1 choppers, 1 jets). Okay I'm getting carried away now :D

in the future we may be looking to do something a little like that for more than just muttrah ;)

How ever, the rest of this topic is restarted, Ihrocks your an *** for bumping this topic to try and promote TheBattleArena and Al Basrah v2 off it and this topic should have been locked long ago...
