Really Gay Guy
America was a tad late into the First World War. They redeemed themself's and came in slightly sooner in the Second. Now they seem determined to start the Third.

Although I think heavier caliber machine guns such as the .50 calibers will show muzzle flashes on their guns. This is something I searched up, but I think these videos make some good examples.

The U.S still uses the M2 Browning Machine, which also originated in WW2. Alot of weapons in WW2 were really ahead of their time. The MG3 chambers 7.62 NATO rounds, and can be fed alot more ammunition than the G36. MG3 is one of the most relaible machine guns in the world. Despite the fact thats it old.

My guess is, that the MG36 isn't cheap, and european armies in general does not have a great budget for aquiring new equipment. Also, the double-drum feeding system that it uses is notorious for making weapons jam. Having only 30 bullets a magazine kind of defies the idea with a support weapon.trogdor1289 wrote:I still find it funny that the German army is using the MG3 from WWII with the G36 ultra modern weaponry. As to the nighttime firefight i imagine it was some form of flare.
Btw, the MG3 is a very good weapon
As for the muzzle flashes, I only remember being able to see them in dark areas like inside houses without light or outside at night. So I would not vote for muzzleflashes in broad daylight.
