Collaborator man weapons --> dead?
Hi, i just want a short statement, if its possible that when civis man guns, they get a black screen like "missing kit" and die after a short time?
cause now, you cant enter a car with weapons if the driver wont change his seat. i mean it dont affect gameplay that hard, its just better for civis.

So your suggestion is to give civies time to drop the weapons if they pick one up by acccident?

Yes. In vehicle he means. When you enter a vehicle with a gun, and there already is a driver, you automaticly enter slot 2 - which usualy is the gun and gets you killed. I totaly agree with the suggestion, as there is a 5 second warm up time for the guns anyway.

The whole point of civilians is that they are non-combatants. So allowing them to man a weapon would defeat the point of the kit. On most insurgency maps there are lots of the little civi cars that shouldn't effect civis at all. Besides if you shoot a civi you get a penalty. So having someone that can shoot at you but you don't want to shoot back because you'll get penalized doesn't make sense.

No, no! The civilian would be allowed to be on the gun for 2 seconds or so - the warm up time is 5 seconds, he couldnt shoot anyway. Just enough time to switch the seat!

I support this wholeheartedly. It's only occurred once for me, but it gave me a 3 minute respawn for something I didn't mean to do. I'd say give it a 5 second delay, 2 seconds isn't enough time to react for many, and you still wouldn't be able to shoot.

Yea, you're right, 2 was just a random number between 0 and 5
Dunno how long exactly the weapon prepare time is, either. Just make it between long enough and too long^^

This should also apply to bombcars, currently civis car drive and detonate bombcars. It should also be treated as a weapon.

Ya, though I don't know of any civi who'd be stupid enough to use it. They'd get a 3 minute respawn for suicidingbadmojo420 wrote:This should also apply to bombcars, currently civis car drive and detonate bombcars. It should also be treated as a weapon.

Re: Collaborator man weapons --> dead?
i agree with this too
i guess it wouldn't be especially much harder to do than the fact that you can't use armored vehicles armament if you're not a crewman or the co-truck without officer/engineer kit etc.

3min spawn is worth it when a styker is sitting by your cache or spawn point, raping your team. It's hard to believe the insurgent force would give a VBIED to a guy who just calls in enemy positions. But mainly it will prevent civvies using it as transport, which happens far too often.McLuv wrote:Ya, though I don't know of any civi who'd be stupid enough to use it. Right, this is a horrible place to post it and it is completely off topic. Also, I'm fairly sure they just photoshopped those fastropes into the movie. There was no actual using of fastropes as part of the gameplay.Hartmanngr wrote:Guys you must see this trailer of the Sands of Fire in the trailer if you see carefully they deploy ropes from sea hawks (??????) We must check this and even ask the developers of film what they hell figured out.

Re: Collaborator man weapons --> dead?
I know, but if you ever decide to spawn at palace to grab the Bomb car, you better not spawn as a civi because of the ginormous spawn time. Only reason I'd spawn at palace on Al Basrah as a civi would be to fix the bridges/technicals.badmojo420 wrote:3min spawn is worth it when a styker is sitting by your cache or spawn point, raping your team. Re: Collaborator man weapons --> dead?
You can shoot and kill, without repercussions, any civilian in a car, ladder, or rope, so them driving bomb cars is fine.
