Bf patch 1.50 ban mods?

my friends told me that in the new BF2 patch 1.5, are they baning all mods?
is this true? and what are PR doing about it? keeping 1.41 or uppgrade to 1.5?

hahaha its not true. theres a "fake" change log somewhere that says something about not allowing mods but its a joke and not true in any way.

It would be very very counter productive to do that. What your friend heard is that most of the mods are most likely going to have some problems with the new patch till the mod is adapted. Thats why we already wrote that you should not upgrade till the DEVs give you a green light.

without any background info i dont think theyll ban mods.
couple of months ago i bought a new BF2 CD cause the old one was scratched to much after 3years of usage.
the reason was i want to play PR and not a buggy 4year old game that is vbf2.
btw why the f...the creators of this mod dont get a share of the money for each sold CD?

Not true, yes it would be very counterproductive, but that does not keep companies from being counerproductive. I just got myself The Thing (1982) and cant play the dvd on my computer at my leisure, because of a copy protection. Now if I download that DVD I can play it on my computer.
