hahaha its not true. theres a "fake" change log somewhere that says something about not allowing mods but its a joke and not true in any way.

It would be very very counter productive to do that. What your friend heard is that most of the mods are most likely going to have some problems with the new patch till the mod is adapted. Thats why we already wrote that you should not upgrade till the DEVs give you a green light.

Re: Bf patch 1.50 ban mods?
without any background info i dont think theyll ban mods.
couple of months ago i bought a new BF2 CD cause the old one was scratched to much after 3years of usage.
the reason was i want to play PR and not a buggy 4year old game that is vbf2.
btw why the f...the creators of this mod dont get a share of the money for each sold CD?
(my opinion as a player)

Not true, yes it would be very counterproductive, but that does not keep companies from being counerproductive. I just got myself The Thing (1982) and cant play the dvd on my computer at my leisure, because of a copy protection. Now if I download that DVD I can play it on my computer.

i charge a hefty fee for my apperance Bosco, that Bradley doesnt run on thin air

Smeg: Fuzz commands a lot and promotes good teamwork, db flips vehicles, Bosco is an all-round nub, Outlawz is an SP whore, Nickbond is a friggin ninja and Rhino gets kicked for being a n00b.
