[?] Testing Maps
I've started to work on a map and decided to see how it runs ingame and my question is... How do I make the map visible in the maps list?? Do i have to edit that in the BF2 editor??
Please and Thanks for any help.

Re: [Question] Testing Maps
You should be able to see all possible map sizes and game modes in the menu by default, you actually have to remove stuff, so the maps show up under correct sizes and modes

Re: [Question] Testing Maps
Thank you! alright so it did show up and the map would load all the way up until loading complete then CTD. Can you think of any factors as to why it would do so??

Re: [Question] Testing Maps
Alright, With this "Wonderful" problem i can think of a few things
Did you make combat zones?
Did you edit your init.con file so each team has 5 kits (Look at Already-made maps as an example, they will be in the server.zip)?
Did you pack your server and client files properly?
Did you make spawns for each team?
Does each team have a flag

take a look at this whole thread/section cos there is much to learn about mapping for pr
your part will be the init.con (kit layout)

[QUOTEDid you pack your server and client files properly?][/QUOTE]
You dont need to pack the map to play a test run. Only pack it if your done-Outlawz in Xfire chat.

Re: [Question] Testing Maps
Nevermind guys, I figured it out. I made the init file while the editor was opening.. so it over wrote it after I saved it. :d uh:
