I agree with Walleye the Medic delay is terrible. I like the limit on uses but delay sucks.

Ammo resupply is a little long. You have to camp on a bag for ever to get any ammo.

Should just limit what they can resupply.


SPR needs to be on SAK1!!!!

Defibrilators take a while to recharge and it would take a bit of time to take ammo out of a bag and get it in a magazine or whatever. It is longer than previous but it's also more realistic IMO and this is PR. I think once we get used to it and figure out tactics to use, it will be fine.

Best bits: 6 man vehicles, return of commanders, binocs and SIMRAD. Didn't get time to try the SPR or Sig, I was too busy being a Medic for my squad on Karkand and a Sniper on that chinese map with the river. I played for about an hour this morning and had great fun. Can't wait to get home to try out everything else.

Worse bits: The timed C4 annoyed me. Considering they're so weak, they're considerably obvious to enemies. You can hear the beeping from a mile off, and at first I thought someone was spamming loads of C4s. New sounds are a must.

Claymores on engies are pretty pointless, personally I think they should be removed outright. I'm happy with the SMG, but I think carbines would be better, or at least a pistol. There's not much reason to be engie as it is, and now they just have a weak rifle they have nothing the other classes can't offer.

An issue I regularly suffer from is when I'm using a scoped weapon or the bincocs and I spot a vehicle from a distance. It'll just say 'Enemy forces on the move!' and put up the question mark, when I'm sure I'm spotting a vehicle. Normally I have to say 'hey guys, that's a tank' seeing as I want them to be aware. It kinda takes the point away from recon when that happens, though it's probably an engine bug and not a PR one.

On the whole, well done. Can't wait to get home.

Hey malik if you get up the commmo rose and then right click you can say what type of vehicle/troop you want to spot...this should help you!

Personally I don't think the medic delay is that bad at all, and I'm a veteran medic.
Just remember to keep your paddles charged at all times, and always look before you leap.

As for 0.3, wow

+. Loving the Mk12, didn't realise it was a modified M16 lol
+Support is much less used now which is always a plus.
+Teamwork gallore! Even if the teams I was in weren't very good at least they were trying XD
+Shiny new maps
+Nightvision, can finnally play a night map without massive lag ;)
+ All the new gear is cool as well

Con's
- Insta-proning still makes things a little less than fun in some circumstances.
- Now the M24 is more accurate I notice how lethal it is. No armour means death basically :/ I don't like any bullet causing a 1hko unles it's a HS, maybe it should just cause seere bleed and damage, but not insta kill.

Brilliant!!!! I played for about an hour and a half last night and really loved it. Keep it up guys.

I love the 6 man vehicles. I think the new comander adjustment in good, but from my few hours of playing almost no one requested artillery or supplies. I think it will get better when more people realise that the comander can't send them on his own.

quick thoughts:

Night maps..
From my experience..
Buildings keep blinking - Black... Its like the lightmaps - turn off and turn on most of the time. On the Buildings and lamppost..
It dosnt matter if im using nightgoogles or not..

I like the even more deadly bullets now. That is good..Keeps people alert.

Omar beach - To many airplanes there.. Keep it one pr team. And 2 small choppers...And a gunship. thank you

The map with the West Beach and East beach..Are a good map... Saved by the PR waypoint system. Good balance on that map.

Rhino's map surprises me.. It's very simpel and easy to figure out..good map.
Hope to play that map more...

Nightmaps are a problem for me.. How about evening maps :mrgreen:

is it just me or is the night vision pretty pointless on some of the night maps.

e.g. i was on sharqi night and was running around without the goggles on. all the enemy jeeps and men were glowing and i could still see the enviroment perfectly well, however with the goggles it was harder to spot enemies with no gain in normal visibility.

No the 1 hit kill is great. It's a sniper rifle dude...and this is a realism mod. A sniper rifle round to your chest is going to render you UNABLE to fight.

Yes a sniper round probably would kill an unarmoured target. However, your missing something , it's called balance.
Headshot, Chest shot, fine 1 hit kill. Anywhere else I don't expect it to kill me, only severely injure me. We don't want a PR version of CT's AWP.

One of the highlights of this mod is the skill requirement, a sniper that kills in 1 hit requires little skill. The m24 right now is point, fire, dead not AIM, fire, dead.

If it hadn't been for the massive performance loss this would've been outstanding.
I had to drop my settings back quite a bit and may have to drop them all the way to get a decent framerate.
Note, PRMM.25 did not do this for me, neither does vanilla.
Now, I don't blame the mod, I blame my rather poor knowledge of Windows tweaking and perhaps an outdated graphic card driver or 2.

My rig is a P4 3.2 Ghz with 2 gb of ram.
I have an ATI Radeon x600-PCI-E 256
Perhaps time for a driver update? The one I have is kind of old.... :lol:

Should I start thinking about getting a new graphics card alltogether?
Any advice is welcome as I don't like to play this mod as a slideshow :(

this mod turned into a snipe fest again, i cant believe it, it totally sux when u guys put all this effort into making a good mod for nothing, all everyone does is snipe, every game ive played so far 3/4 of my team and my squad are snipers..... im very dissapointed.....

besides the sniper fest, i really like all the features and the gameplay, good job...... but please do somethign about the snipers!!! the gameplay is shit with too many snipers.

oh yeah, don't say that people are just trying out the sniper kit and it will die down cause it won't, the first versions of this mod proves that.

you are missing the point.

the only times i really saw sniper fests was when the USMC where on a map with the Mk12 SPR.

This is totaly exspected at first. Its a NEW Weapon. Every one loves NEW stuff. They are all going to want to try it at first.

but in time people will go back to there oringal kits and others will stick with the sniper ect.

its just because its new, every one wants a go ;)

Im sure .3 would be great. I cant download it. Oh no i can..... but 74 hours later Ill be joining you guys. Heres the story:

that torrent thing is crud and wants me to wait 74 hours (tsch pff yeah right I havent even played BF2 that long).

total bf2 thinks i have cokies disabled when i dont so i cant dwonload from there.

the K clan one doesnt load up

and that .se site..... well I wont even bother clicking anywhere because I dot know if im licking on "click here to download" or "click here for free anime child porn" because i havent a clue what "Omdirigerar" means or any of that other stuff on that site.

So to make this post a little constructive, please can you guys use your magical realism modding powers to put the file or mirror or whatever on 3D gamers site so I can download .3 from a UK server on 3D gamers.

PS I would REALLY like this to be done soon because iv spent the last half hour stressing because i really dont feel like spending the 2 hours i have free on C&C generals.

hmm, still, joining a squad with several snipers seems stupid. To me a squad never needs more than 1 sniper, and that is just to remove enemy snipers or grant covering fire. It might be a good idea to limit squads to 1 sniper.

I'd really like to see squads utilising each classes benefits and furthermore, there should be more of an incentive to travel around as a squad, or even the ability for the squad leader to punish people that don't travel together, it's probably a stupid idea but i just hate joining a squad full of people that dont work together, it defies the whole point of a squad right?

Im pretty sure both of those sites will just reffer you back to the same torrent file. Theres no easier way of getting it really. I use the program BitLord for torrents and it's great, just make sure all your preferences are right.

we have found no way for class limmiting as of yet or we would have allready put it in ;)

But we are looking into it :D

sorry im a bit ... retarded please explain a a little more detail what you mean by prefferences. all i know is i usually use the fedault windows downloader thing a ma thing and not this crappy bit torrent thing that looks wierd, has WAY too much wrighting as all i need is download speed:, percentage completed: and time to wait:, and gives me crappy download speeds!!!
