But many people have said to join training servers. Well, to tell you the truth, that's the exact opposite of what I'd recommend. To get an actual feel for project reality, you should join a real server in a squad with VoiP. Every good squad leader will let you join and help you out if they can. If they don't though, don't get offended, many squad leaders only want to play with a few buddies, or aren't in the mood to help out. But don't hold it against them.
Once you've finally gotten a taste for PR, and you want to take your experience to a different level, you can try out some of the assets. You rarely need to join a training server to learn about ground assets like APCs or tanks, though there will be many things that you don't learn about them until much later.
If you're eager enough to get into the world of flying, I IMPLORE you to go onto a training server, just to try it out. Don't even attempt it on a live server until you've practiced taxiing, landing, and flying to the point that you are comfortable with it. As said before, hope this helps
EDIT: Also, if you're looking for help in more particular areas, I know =DaM= is offering training to those seeking it. http://damclan.net/modules.php?name=For ... forum&f=42
I used to be with them, and I can tell you they are very good team players, and they know their stuff. Give them a post, and they'll be sure to cater to your needs.
