This also have to be my favourite map because the spawnpoints are at very good positions. I wish every map had spawnpoints outside the flag radius so spawnkilling does almost not happen. And I think it's great that you can't spawn at the middle flag. Sometimes I have an EXCELLENT attack on an enemy flag, I take out their whole defence with my squad. We are capping their flag, but it takes so slow that within 30 seconds their whole defence spawns all around us = we get killed and the whole attack was worthless. These kind of situations make me pissed. Sorry for the whining, but my point is, I wish more maps had spawnpoint like this map.six7 wrote:Excellent map! I love the way you can't spawn at the village. You should make a similar map in the future (where both teams are attacking a non-spawnable point) Maybe add some small outskirts to the village. A few farms and houses outside of the walls could provide a bit more of an interesting map.

Definitely my favourite. The spawn points are very well thought out, but as mentioned the bare patches could be adjusted slightly. I was in a squad with SoldierofFortune and as advanced up the right flank towards the estate, had some brilliant places to hide, but covering the flanks with more trees and hills to provide visual cover would be nice. My only main concern is most of the battle takes place in the middle, and once its taken it seems to easy for it to change hands, so it's very hard to attack the second from last spawn point on each team because before you get there the middle's neutral again and you either need to hang around for a while or go back and help win it back.
I hope more maps incorporate the same spawn point positioning though.
