Some of USMs top pilots, one of which is a top 40 pilot in BF2, would like it if when missles are shot it says FOX 1, FOX2 etc. Then when the missle hits it says SPLASH 1, SPLASH 2. Mabye a little target neutralized after that. That way one he fires the missles he can turn off to avoid AA fire or another jet.

Also I dont know if u can still go super sonic in PRMM (i hope though) but doing so requires you to get to a speed of 3000+. A skill which they have mastered. The boundries for jets should be taken off so that pilots have some flying room and they can excersize the tactic of flying away, and coming back from a different angle. I also think their should be a pilot class, he would be armed with a M9 and a smoke. He would be the only class able to assess jets and helicopters. This would be another deturent from players always wanting helos.

I was also wondering. Are there little elves in supply crates that pop out and repair your vehicles, or is it really Chuck Norris with Harry Potters invisibility cloak? lol Supply crates should ony be used for giving ammo.

Kits: The never ending discussion
Personally the kits are ok for now. I would like to see the addition of a light anti tank with a M16 and an AT4, pilot class, and the engineers MP5 replaced with an M16. SLAMs are currently worthless they are weak and the beeping gives you away. Engineers need to constantly resupply as they have 1 C4. I really dont see the need of a spec ops class. The team is supposed to be USMC MEU agianst China or MEC. M203s should make vehicles die in 1 hit and explson 2 secs after. Here my beak down of kits afterward.

Rifleman:
M16A4[newer version rigged with weaver, highly customizable]
Option of adding a M203 or forgrip AND either a 4X ACOG or red dot sight
2 Flash, Smoke
Binocs
Ammo bag

Engineer:
M16A4
customizations as listed above minus M203
either C4, Mines and mabye 2 claymores
2 Flash, Frag

Medic:
M16A4
customizations same as above
shock paddles
med packs [lengthen med time]
2 frags, flash, smoke

Support Gunner:
M249 SAW
2 frag, smoke, flash
binocs

Sniper:
M24 or SPR
M9
2 frags 1 smoke
binocs

Pilot:
M9
1 smoke
Parachute

Heavy Antitank:
M9
Javilon [1 rocket 1 hit kill]
binocs

Light Antitank:
M16A4
Customizations- Foregrip, 4XACOG or reddot
AT4 [Only hit hit kill if in the back, missle has drop as well]

I really agree with the pilot class idea, ive been thinking about it for awhile now, But i really think Tanks and Jets need to be totally redone, the fact a tank gets damaged from every hit is unrealistic, and the jets cant be used in a realistic fashion as of yet

please no flashes i hate them on css all i see is white my entire gaming experience and if you do add flash bangs give them only one.

Supply crates in PR do not repair vehicles.

Some maps have jet boundaries removed, I agree all of them should have jet boundaries removed.

The class system in 0.3 is pretty decent, I think the main elements we are missing:
- basic rifleman class
- light, unguided at weapon system
- soldier carried SAM weapon system

and we can then .. ideally .. build a fairly robust class system.

Good suggestions :)

im sure that just before BF2 came out there were noises about a pilot class - i was expecting it and was disapointed. thats just gotta be done in future versions, it would make the mod more popular in my opinion, and making the pilot class the only ones who can access aircraft would be awesome! please!! make it so!!!

I would like to see some class variation, I'd personalyl like some minor loadout customisation. Less nade ammo for more rifle ammo, etc

Yes, pilot class plz. Then they can all stand around holding hands, waiting for the next heli/jet to spawn, while the rest of us are on the frontlines, helping the team :B

Fox brevity calls have nothing to do with the number of missiles that have been fired. Fox 1 denotes a SARH missile, Fox 2 is IR, and Fox 3 is ARH.

The rest of your suggestions sound pretty good though.

I've been meaning to touch on the jet stuff as well. If you could implement a radar system for the jets cockpit or even just replace the spin map with one it would be great.

Also for the HUD display on the jets shows enemy jets identified by "tower" show up as lookin somwhat like small little dippers on the HUD, and the pilot has option of locking on to these targets and the missile won't deter from the intended target. Once the kill is confirmed, tower confirms the kill by a target neutralized voice.

^ eh, warning signals on real fighter jets let you know when someone has activated their search radar. So they don't always get the jump on you. I like that it's a constant warning when your being locked onto.

Your right about the fox one thing, It would be like Fox one and fox one two for a second missle i think.
