Asad Khal Alternate (MTLB)
We are on PRTA at Asad Khal AAS Std. The MEC team has got 1 30mm MTLB and at least one BRDM. The Israeli Team has only those M113 APC's with 50.Cal's on top. The problem is that we don't have any chance against the MTLB. Even if we spot it 5s earlier, we dont have a chance to kill it, but it will kill us meanwhile. In my opinion, there should be some changes. There should be either a Namer on the IDF team, which will probably also be overpowered, or just remove the MTLB. I guess the 2nd idea would be the most fair one.

idk about anyone else but I fail to see a connection between the OP and your post atom.
what is a fail idea? to remove the MTLB? to add a Namer? to not use the HAT against the MTLB and lose 400-0?

IDF could destroy it 5 times, but some one couldn't use LAT, and they had only one TOW.

It's quite difficult to destroy it. The first reason for this is, that the map itself is small, and its quite foggy: All the infantry is sticking close to the MTLB, every LAT they - or the MTLB - see, will be instantly killed. The second reason is that the M113's 50 cal needs a LOT hits on the MTLB, meanwhile the MTLB will find the source of the flying 50's and it will destroy your not so well armored APC...
EDIT: + the M113's gunner gets INSTANTLY killed, if he starts to fire HE rounds. My gunner was dead after 1 second when the MTLB started to fire on us.

Another thing is that the houses provide almost zero cover since the MTLB can either blast his HE everywhere inside or spam all the walls with COAX. If the MTLB keeps some distance and has eyes on a flag, its almost impossible to kill it. Especially on 100p servers since its just a wall of enemies covered by the APC behind. No way to flank around with a HAT anywhere without being spotted and killed by INF.

I'll take a look at it... but remember guys, the ALTERNATE layer is used to present new options and environments. Asad Khal had been an infantry-only map for a long time so I guess the mapper wanted to see if APCs might be fun. Obviously we need to work on balance but the INF layer is still available for your tried-and-true infantry shoot-outs.

Balance was already broken by removing scopes from nearly all IDF kits, that aditional 30mm MTLB was just a nail to the IDFs coffin on that layer.

Takeda, funny it's coming from a guy whos squad on our last clan war had stats 1:50 - cyce mistrzostfftwo, you have some personal issues take it to the PM.
I am just trying to point flaws on this layer. This is a 1km map, with two chockepoints on it, covered by 50 guys with scoped rifles and MG's. Without mortar or heavy asset support it's almost impossible to break lines or even defend. Once my squad managed to clear east hill compund only to get flooded again by MECs spawning on close rally points before we could even revive our sqmates.
This map needs total redesign terrain wise to work with 100 players on a server, some flanking routes are needed, etc.

What? I don't think Rudd has a hostile bone in his whole body. I think you interpreted his reply wrong. He's simply saying that weapon feedback in a map thread will likely get lost in the shuffle. To reach the DEVs that work on weapons, it's best to post in the weapons part of the feedback.

I think the 30mm is too much for this map.
Make it a PKT MTLB. Or just a jeep with a 50 cal.
Remember admins very rarely will set anything except STD or ALT. so keep this map infantry focused by keeping the STD with just light vehicles and inf.

I think it's the best choice, PKT MTLB is 100 times better than M113 simply becouse you can't kill the gunner.Or just a jeep with a 50 cal.
Or give IDF Namer.
