First Gun, MG42

had the day off today so i thought i'd try and model my first gun, chose the mg42.

what do ya think

the bullet and metal textures are a bit **** since i cant get it to UV texture properly but i'm fairly happy with it.

Nice, looks a bit like in Call of Duty. It's too glossy though, it needs more of that rugged feel to it if you want to go for total realism.

Damn, for a first effort...damn. All that in one day? Have you been modelling for long? I'm sure I could pick up a few tricks. What program are you using? 3Ds max?

looks very nice for first attempt.
now model a MEC heavy sniper rifle! so we don't have to have the vBF2 l85.

jk, model whatever you feel like modeling, or it might not be that good.
