tank driver view
i think the tank driver view is unrealistic t
a thing that can be done is give the tank driver a view that a player has when he is a passenger in an apc you know a square hole and black dark walls around
same thing for apc driver(unless apc driving looks diffrent)

you remind me someone from bf2 he was a heli pilot to he was playing mashtuur city server and he told me the same thing about russian tanks
and about that wel why not add another place in tank commander place this place will be at the upper cabin(the gunners one)
and there the commander could see everyhing like outside the tank in 360 degrees and then he could spot targets and from this sit tank commander will press a key which gives oclock you could choose it then he willl say 1 oclock 12 oclock 5 oclock and etc and he could also say right or left that way the driver wil know where to turn this thing willl give full realism i give you my word that if you like realism you will enjoy it

thx bro nice vids and its just like i said the tank command sits up and he has visual on anything h commmandes if move left right hold position ot go
thats for the driver and the driver still has some sight of his own
and about the reloader no need this is already way over the limit
but what i suggest is the closest to reality a pc game could be(i think)

well of course it's not realistic. The fact is driver's in PR/BF2 had nothing to do, but drive, which aside from that, contributed nothing to the tank crew.
Thus, the dev's decided to combine the Tank Driver and Commander Position into 1 position. To "SIMULATE" the Commander giving the Driver the commands to drive. Now with this setup, the driver has a more involved role.
360 Degree view to be perfectly aware.
4x and 10x zoom to help spot enemies for the gunner.
To move the tank without having 2 people involved.
Much better than having a Driver, gunner, commander, and cupola.

My only problem with the new commander position in tanks is not being able to quickly reset zoom level to 0. You can be driving around, and suddenly have a bunch of sheep run out in front of you (ok, it'd be sheep in real life, but in PR it's a bunch of retards on crack). Now you have to click altfire until you're back to 0 zoom so you can drive around the sheep/retards properly.

In relation to what you see it does though.solodude23 wrote:The actual sensitivity dosn't change it all, it just seems like it since you are zoomed in.
I'm sure we didn't have this problem in 0.5, while zooming in then the sensitivity was no problem. (despite it being only 1 zoom level, still enough to have an effect)
