Don't if know if this is possible but sound spoting inside a tank is realy silly so if was possible to set sond to mono (non directional) when inside an iron box like a tank.
It would fore teams to support tanks with infantry more and give it a more realistic feel when the tank is beeing shot at.

Guess I needed a translaitor on that one[R-DEV]Jaymz wrote:I think I know what you mean. You want exterior sounds to be more obstructed when inside a Tank/APC right? If so, we're working on it for 0.7![]()
Im more conserne with not being able to determin where the sound comes from, not how clear it is.

Don't worry, you'll only hear things that are very loud (explosions etc). I tested it yesterday...Skylark wrote:Guess I needed a translaitor on that oneops:

I think he means sound shouldn't be directional when you are inside a tank. Outside, with the 3d sound engine, you can hear where a sound is coming from. He thinks it should not be possible when inside a tank, which somewhat makes sens. Anyway, most sounds shouldn't be audible when inside a tank IMO.
