Helicopter Suggestion
Okay this might sound like a crazy suggestion but I am wondering if you could put seperate collision meshes on a vehicle. Take the helicopter for example if you are hit on one certain collision mesh the people inside that mesh die. Or have a mesh on the rotor or near it and when a rocket hits it starts a wild spin. I'm sorry if this has been suggested before but thanks.

I've wondered if this sort of thing was possible. I don't see a mechanism to kill the functionality of something, say the engines, should that part of the craft be destroyed.

As far as I know there is already something like this. If you hit for example the tail rotor of a chopper it will start spinning. It is only working on local servers though.
