FOB deplyable HAT
Lots of people have been suggestign and hoping for a TOW to be a deployable Firebase asset but since it would most likely become a µltr4 1337 v3h1cl3 pwn3r im suggesting for 1 stationary HAT weapon to be deployed whit Firebases like a 50.cal or a AA placement.
The Skin and other characteristics would be simular to any other HAT missile launcher on the kit just that it wouldnt be mobile and have a ammo count of perhaps 2-3 missiles.

It would be great to have some deployable HATs on a building, so you can shoot tanks on his top side

No!!!!!!!!goguapsy wrote:is there one in game??????
But if I understand the OP correctly, he wants a deployable stationary HAT launcher, because a deployable stationary TOW would be overpowered.
I just don't see the difference here.

can you get a tripod for the SRAW or the Javelin?(ofc the javelin probably won't be used) but i know you can have a Tripod for the ERYX and the MILAN.
or a recoilless on a tripod with scope?arjan wrote:Stationary anti tank cannons for the OPFOR?![]()

The UK adopted a proprietary tripod for their Javelin CLUs. The US, to my knowledge, has not, but we are now fielding the same CLU (Block 1 / M98A2). Maybe it includes points for attachment to a tripod.Hitman.2.5 wrote:can you get a tripod for the SRAW or the Javelin?(ofc the javelin probably won't be used) but i know you can have a Tripod for the ERYX and the MILAN

Lets just stay outta the deployable TOW so the thread wont be locked as a re-sugestionHellDuke wrote:I think I've actually seen a TOW with firebases a few times... I believe we had one when we fortifed the Mosque flag on Muttrah... That was quite a while back (in the earlyer version of Muttrah)

there might only be two hats out there on the battlefield but most of them are already at firebases firing away at tanks. its a big battlefield, but you seem to run into guys with hats almost too easily. I dont agree with this idea.

Thats its less powerful. I think a TOW, or a Kornet just packs a too big punch, so I agree with rambo93 here. Put stationary eryx'es, javelins, and PF98's around FOB's.Zrix wrote:What's the difference between this and a deployable TOW launcher?

The problem is that for this suggestion to get in game someone needs to make new models... If a TOW was used then someone could just take the sandbag base of the AA emplacement and add the TOW as a child (i think
) this means no new models and a lot less work for the person who takes the task on.

Well we allrdy have skins for all the hats, all that would be required is simply the skin from a hat and make it lying on the groundXxX_HangMan_XxX wrote:The problem is that for this suggestion to get in game someone needs to make new models... I dont think we can edit the HAT models, because they are Dice's models.rampo93(FIN) wrote:Well we allrdy have skins for all the hats, all that would be required is simply the skin from a hat and make it lying on the ground![]()
