[Help] Blender
IS there any way to create assets in BLENDER? I don't have 3Dmax or Maya.

Are you a student with an e-mail address provided to you by your university?

Oh, okay. I was curious, because if you had an e-mail address provided by your university, you could download both Maya and 3ds Max for free.

Re: Blender
You can use Blender, though it is more effort for the person who has to export as you have to export to an intermediate format such as .obj, then import into max, solve all the problems that will have inevitably appeared in the transfer (uv map issues/normal issues/smoothing group creation/scaling etc), and then continue the export process from max.
