1. Download: Freeware Hex Editor XVI32
2. Close Windows Live Messenger
3. Open C:\Program Files\Windows Live\Messenger and make a back-up of msnmgr.exe (in case you break it)
3. Open XVI32 and open msnmgr.exe (not the back up one)
4. Press Ctrl + F, and pick Text string
5. Type in hotlinks in the search box and press OK
6. You'll find hotlinks, change the first letter to a t (making it totlinks).
7. Ctrl + S to save
8. Start Windows Live Messenger and try a link.
