The edges marked in green could use a chamfer much more as they will be more noticeable for the player. It will also massively improve the silhouette of the gun. The silhouette is one of the most important things when it comes to low poly modeling.
Remove the chamfering you have done here (marked in red):
And revert back to two smoothing groups, green and blue instead of one - there are a lot of smoothing problems there.
