Here's some eye candy for y'all. It's work in progress, though almost complete. 2048^2 texture. Compatible with baked ambient occlusion lighting (gives more massive/natural look).

Nice, although I think your UVs could have been done quite a bit better thou a little late for that now.

- Dumptruck (Gary)
- Semi (Big Red)

After your van I think the next best vehicle would be a sedan.

Hey guys. Sorry for the delay, been having a crazy week at work.

Totally agreed. I'd normally make a post about UVs only and think more about them, though when I was doing this I had a creativity rage, spent about 16 hours working on it straight from finishing the model over unwrapping all way to its current state. 11pm till 3pm, lol

Areas that appear of lower resolution I will try to mask somehow with the texture. Anyway, thanks for reading, catch you on the next update.

Nice, really like the cracked rear view mirror :)

The speedo etc are a little low detail thou :(

Ya.. Thing is, I couldn't find almost any references about the cockpit. So even if it was high-res, I wouldn't know what to put there :o ops:

Its not what's there that the problem its more that its really low rez (pixely).

never forget, when Rhino has something to complain, thats a good thing, cause it means you are close to what he wants you to do, otherwise he would simply not comment at all ;-)

nice work, but rhino is right, the speedmeter could be sharper, less blured

Btw, this vehicle may be something the PR:Arma II boys can use as well?

Here's something for Rhino specifically in attempt to make him slightly happier :p I reworked the critical instrument table elements to the best I could. I'd give more space to speedo, but there was no more room for it I could find on the uv layout. Still, now it has about 2x higher res. End result didn't really pay off considering it took me three hours to fix this.. but heck, I gave my best.

The 3D buttons look better but my main point was the Speedo textures are really low rez and as such looks really bad :(
