Technically this is PR, not BF2 and probably because there is no joystick support in BF3 which is the biggest turn off ever for any 1/2 serious + pilot, not to mention no mod support for BF3 if your talking about modding it to make it more realistic like what we do here.CAS_117 wrote:And why sweat the aircraft in BF2 when the ones in BF3 have unlimited view distance, selectable payloads, and more options than one could imagine on BF2?

TBH it should be Realism = Gameplay and balance. Not Realism -> Gameplay or vice versa.

I say leave it, theres many times when Ive played infantry and called in for chopper support while under fire . Taking cover and trying to peak up at your attack chopper battling it out with the enemy attack helo and then coming to help u is the best.
